My stage 3 studio project was a year long project to design a residential retreat and performance hall for SISTEMA Scotland in the town of Balloch. SISTEMA is a charity that is dedicated to changing vulnerable childrens lives through music in Scotland and the task was to create something that could be used as an escape for young people. The main driving concepts of my schemes are a small ground footprint, the idea of placing objects within space to create space and making something that feels natural in the setting by use of materiality.
